We’re really pleased to be releasing the first of the klusterr vids today. It’s creatively labeled ‘klusterr - What we do!’, well because it’s…ummm…what we do!
There’ll be more…like ‘The Why of klusterr’, and other ‘How to….’ coverage.
We’re planning some interesting integrations too that will bring life to other tools but more importantly deliver user bases to us in numbers most social networkers only dream about.
I need an IP address checking app with automated geo-tagging for my iPhone!
I was checking klusterr’s list of Beta registrants this morning and they come from all over the place. I love this internet thingy where for no apparent reason people come crawling out of the woodwork to find out what an unknown is up to.
We are based in the non-Silicon (see Brad Feld’s blog http://www.feld.com/wp/archives/2012/04/the-tragedy-of-calling-things-silicon-blah.html) part of Copenhagen. That’s the part of Copenhagen that isn’t dominated by the inward looking clique that still thrives on knowing the Skype guys! Yep, we don’t share co-working space, we don’t have angel funding, and we don’t do the startup bootcamps, but without very much effort we do have several hundred Beta registrants from Denmark, Australia, Malaysia, Brazil, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Macedonia, Romania, all across the US, UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, Italy and South Africa. Oh yeps, I almost forgot to say that’s all in the last seven days.
I think we got the globe covered. That iPhone image on our klusterr landing page really is a powerful aid to building interest in consumer web apps. It carries a story all it’s own without the need for text.
Oh, and I found the IP tracking tool with mapping functionality…in the App Store!
We’re really excited… We’re about to launch a web-application to improve the lives of people all over the world. All that’s needed is a mobile device with Internet access.
It’s always going to be FREE to join! And we’re taking registrations now for the first 10,000 Beta Testers at www.klusterr.com - Please remember to share!
For those of you who register early, we’ll be in touch to get your feedback. We’re not giving away too much information at the moment. We don’t want to ruin the surprise…
